Our Mission
Our mission is to create a space where men can share their experiences without fear of judgement, exposure, or consequence. Every story submitted to HIIM is completely anonymous. No names. No accounts. No tracking. Just truth.
The Meaning
The name HIIM is intentional. It sounds like "him" because it is about him. Every man who has ever hidden a part of himself to survive, to perform, to protect. The double "I" represents the two identities many men carry: the one the world sees, and the one they keep hidden.
The Unmute Foundation
HIIM operates under The Unmute Foundation, a Canadian organization dedicated to breaking the cycles of silence that affect men across cultures, generations, and borders. The foundation believes that healing begins when silence ends, and that every man deserves a space where his full identity is seen, heard, and respected.
Our Vision
We envision a world where vulnerability is not a weakness but a form of courage. Where men of all backgrounds feel safe enough to confront their pain, share their experiences, and support one another through the process of healing. HIIM is the beginning of that conversation.
